Peroxides react with hardeners, gel coat and accelerator in vinyl esthers or with heat provide to curing of product. It starts a reaction to constitutive cross-link between resin and monomer for curing.

These cross-links have structure similar to the clamp, holds together the liquid components in the resin. When occurs an amount of cross-link, the resin take to form of gel and this is gelation. When occurs much cross-link in the resin, the resin take to form of solid and this is curing.
